Angie is a founding board member for Soldier On Service Dogs. Her organizational skills, communication skills, and strategic vision have transformed Soldier ON from an idea to the operating 501c3.
Originally from Little Rock, Angie is an angel investor and has thirty years of management experience with startup organizations. She has an undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Arkansas and a MBA from the University of Houston. She currently owns and operates A Pratt Property Management and has several investments in local NWA entrepreneurial companies.
Jim Hiland spent the majority of his professional career serving in the U.S. Navy. He joined the Navy as the Vietnam War was winding down and initially served in the enlisted ranks as a hospital corpsman. After a 4 year break to complete a bachelor’s degree in accounting he entered officer ranks and became a Navy pilot where he flew the P3-C Orion. As a Navy pilot Jim enjoyed operational deployments in Asia and Europe. Jim completed his 20 year naval career as a Hospital Administrator and earned his Master’s degree in Hospital Administration while on serving on active duty.
Jim and his wife, Susanne (also a veteran of the U.S. Navy) consider it a privilege to serve NWA veterans suffering from PTSD and have been active with Soldier On since its inception. They have experienced firsthand the joy and challenge of fostering a puppy for Soldier On Service Dogs.
Bill joined Walmart in October 2014 and is currently the Vice President of Finance for Logistics, Walmart US. Bill is responsible for financial planning and analysis for a network of over 100 distribution centers and transportation, including both the private fleet and third party carriers.
Bill came to Walmart from Diageo plc., where he served in various senior executive roles, including Senior Vice President, Head of Supply Chain, Global Duty Free and Middle East; Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, North America; Global Business Performance Management Lead; Senior Vice President of Finance, Americas Supply; Vice President of Finance, Decision Support; and Vice President of Business Risk and Audit.
Prior to his extensive career with Diageo, Bill also held leadership roles with PepsiCo, Cargill and Deloitte.
Bill and his wife, Jennifer, have four sons.
Tresa is a thoroughly focused, results oriented professional, specializing in Human Resources. She has worked in various HR capacities for over 30 years; 20 of those years at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., in various locations and divisions. She currently serves as Human Resource Manager for the Walmart Reverse Logistics facility.
Tresa has experience in manufacturing, retail and the medical field which has allowed her in-depth exposure and understanding of those perspective businesses. Human Resources is her passion and her commitment to any organization is to bring knowledge, professionalism, leadership, creativity, innovation, vision and communication. She has a gift for details, facilitation, public speaking and networking. She subscribes to the principal that you should treat people like you want to be treated. This principal has helped her grow with each organization. She is the author of "God's Grace through a Child - Karolynn's Story" a true story about her daughter's adoption that brought healing to her family following tragedy.
