Meet Our Adoptable Dogs!
Female Lab/Shepherd Mix (1.5 years old)
Josie is a very sweet girl and loves to play fetch, but she has some confidence issues being around new people and strange noises. She has had over a year of basic obedience training and has done well learning new commands. Our trainers would recommend Josie to someone who has worked with dogs before and is very understanding of her confidence issues.
Male Labrador/Heeler Mix Puppy (4.5 months old)
Ruger is a puppy with a ton of energy. Unfortunately, this makes him a great match for an active individual or family, but less suitable for our program. He is smart and sweet with a bit of an independent side. Ruger’s future best friend will provide consistent rules and boundaries and not let him get away with bad habits. We are currently working with Ruger to reinforce good behaviors like sit and down and helping him learn to be calm indoors, walk with a loose leash, and disallowing nipping and jumping.
Male Shepherd Mix Puppy (4.5 months old)
Walter and his sister, Winnie, were donated to the program through an "OOPS" litter. He has a sweet demeanor and is a fast learner. He has already mastered sit and lay down. He is EXCELLENT in his kennel and is now working on Loose Leash Walking, but he still needs some work! ;) Walter is super sweet with people, but he tends to be reactive towards other dogs. His ideal family environment would include an active lifestyle with an individual who will work with him and help him chill out a bit.
Female Shepherd Mix Puppy (4.5 months old)
Winnie and her brother, Walter, were donated to the program through an "OOPS" litter. Winnie is a loving and sweet puppy. She has started basic obedience and is working on holding the sit, down, and place commands. She is treat motivated and extremely fun to work with. She would be great in a home that will help her work through excitable potty issues and continue to advance her basic behaviors. She would do beautifully in a home with an active lifestyle.
